DVYNES INTERVENTION
West Hollywood, Ca

DVYNES INTERVENTION How I created "MINE". Basketball and education was an outlet for the founder of “DVYNES’ INTERVENTION”. Now, a Retired Professional Basketball Player, she played abroad in Europe, the founder obtained a Masters’ Degree in Education, and a Minor in Athletic Training, from DePaul University. She accumalated a number of player achievements and is a 2 time Hall Of Fame Inductee. Other achievements include, but is not limited to, playing professional basketball with the WBA and the WNBA, teaching and coaching on the elementary, high school and professional level in women’s basketball. The founder too, had the" choice" of falling victim to her environment or becoming a success in all of her endeavors. To say the least, the above definitely helped broaden the perspective and/or horizons, on many levels, for the founder. This can be shown by the number of accolades that has been achieved. With the above accreditations under her belt, along with attributes to adapt and exist in and on a plethora of levels, the founder was able to overcome each obstacle placed before her. These included teen pregnancy, abuse, environmental and nurturing neglect and peer pressure to experiment in drugs and other various deviants. Due to her hands on experience on how to succeed and accomplish one’s dreams and goals in life, she began speaking at various venues to young ladies, involved in basketball, about choices and change they can have with self-motivation and perseverance. The interest and the number of impoverished young ladies were astonishing to say the least. At that moment is when she realized the need for intervention. The test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposed ideas in mind at the same time and still retain the ability to function and this is what the founder embraced in her life to continue her success and aspirations.
